Just ordered a set and had a couple questions.

This is my second set of Canfield Cranks, but I can’t remember as I sold my first set a while back.

The instructions mention a “spindle spacer” which can be used to move the chainring inboard or outboard. I don’t remember this on my previous set and it wasn’t in the box. I don’t know if I’ll need it but wondered if it’s missing from the box.

Also do these cranks require pedal washers?

pedal washers affect q factor if you care. but arent needed imo if the pedal has a round mating surface area. some pedals have flat areas for a wrench to fit for tightening. without the washer they mar the crank during tightening.
