I hope this is the right place for this.

I have a newly installed Cane Creek S8 headset.
I have my original spacers - can i use these?

The reason I ask - can i use these temporarily as the top of the headset has a lip (for using the interlock cane creek spacers, which I dont have).

What it be ok to use my normal flat edged spacers for the time being? Dont want to damage the top lip for when i get some interlock spacers.

Standard spacers work fine. You don't need to get the interlock spacers either.

Standard spacer will work, but the interlock will work better, as soon as you get it, install it.

Yes, you can use standard spacers until you receive the cane creek spacers.
