Let's see your CanAm Yellow pics!

I want to see what it looks like in the real world on something other than the white background of the Intense website.

Stikman, please explain the "G1 Dropout". Tell us more... 142 Syntace standard? What's up with that?
Is it possible to use the Syntace X12 axle on the Tracer 2?

http://www.syntace.com/index.cfm?pid=3&pk=1745

I am a bit confused about whether X12 and 142 uses the same axle?

If not what axle would you recommend?
Is the 135 mm option similar to the old style Intense dropouts so you can run a QR, 10 mm and 12 mm axles with different adaptors?

What is the real weight of a production frame? I saw a confirmed weight of 7.35 #s for a medium frame, CanAm yellow, NO shock. Correct? That is really close to an Uzzi, so I couldn't really believe it is a production frame.
7.35 w/o shock? That really sucks if is true!!
Please tell us the REAL weight with shock ad rear axle if in 142mm option...!!!

Look at it the other way around: that is a burly frame, no reason not to use it as a mini DH bike. :ihih:  :D :cornut:
No way, it's an enduro-am frame...it should be at maximum 3,300gr with shock!!!

Come on Stik. It can't be that hard to answer this question. ;)
These are the numbers from a test of the medium, CanAm yellow Tracer 2 in BIKE

frame weight w/o shock: 7.35 # (3336 g)
RP23 weight incl. shock bolts: 0.778 # (353 g)
HA: 68.5°
SA: 75°
TT: 22.95" (582 mm)
WB: 44.57" (1132 mm)
BB: 13.58" (345 mm)
fork travel (Fox 32 Talas): 5.86" (149 mm)
rear travel: 5.51"/5.98" (140/152 mm)
Full bike w/o pedals was 28.99 # (13.15 kg) with X.9 2 ring, Elixir CR, ZTR rims on Ringle hubs, ITS 4 tires and Thomson and Chromag finishing kit

According to the distributor who supplied the bike for the test the frame was still pre-production! So there might be some changes!

It also had a 150 mm Fox 32 which A-C length messed the geo up.
So looking at 8lbs for frame and shock? If true that's a bit porky.
7.5lbs with an rp23 seems about right for a bike of this class. Hitting 8lbs with an rp23 is getting up there.

There is something wrong...68.5° HA with a 150mm??From the site is 68°
140/152mm rear travel?From the site is 145/160mm

Well, we've seen how durable those 7lb Tracer VPs have been...

Although, you add a coil shock to the T2, and you're in the UZZI weight class.
