sweet, i have and 04 standard hopper, i ride bikes till they brake, a few weeks ago i got a new fork (mx comp) but now i think i see some cracks in the frame, so i need a new bike
right now im thinking about a steel frame and moving all my parts over, can anyone suggest a nice steel frame (still relitivly lightweight)?

in Mountain Bike Action i know i just read they reviewed those Zion steel frames really nicely. They said they are fast, light, and simple. It has a simple looking design but its supposed to be sweet. I actually believe one of their staff members rode the bike in a race and took first place.

also...if your frame does break...i know specialized has a life long warrantee on those frames...so they will replace it as long as you take it to any specialized dealer in the us

I agree to pursue the warranty. As far as I know, they're excellent in terms of honoring the warranty. Highly recommend doing that and reporting how your experience goes.

Not saying to not buy a new frame. But if you can get a free replacement there's no reason not to.
i wasn't aware of the frame warranty, i bought the bike 2 years ago at a lbs with a 1 year warranty which is now over, i wonder....

in the meantime what are some suggestion for a lightweight steel frame or bike?
