What is B4 and C4? I wish Avid would explain what they are and what applications they are used for. You've got stores that sell either one or the other exclusively and nobody seems to sell them both. Other stores don't even tell you what they're selling. The biggest problem is, I don't know what I need.

Sure. Buy the Galfer pads and be happy. I have been much happier with the Galfer pads than any compound Avid has offered. Cost less, too. The EBC Golds are my second choice.

I ask Avid this question, there's no difference between B4 and C4, just happen to designate a particular manufacturing run, but the pad is the same material.
