I'm hoping to acquire a new 2014 carbon Flash now that they are finally producing one in size small. My trade up is going to be a 2008 carbon Taurine (headshock). I'd like to swap over my BB30 cranks, but wondered if the spindle is going to work. I can't remember what size/length it is or what the BB shell is (68 or 73), but I know the Taurine uses c-clips and heard the Flash does not. Also my crank on the Taurine already has a 2x9 XX spider with XX rings on it, so that should help.

Also wondering what I could expect to get for the Taurine if I sell it. It's decked out full carbon with Stans 7000 wheels and comes in at about 19lbs. Of course I might be swapping out that crank if I can.

Thanks in advance for any input!!

yes should be a straight swap. both frames have 73mm bb shells. don't worry about the c-clips they are integrated into the shell. is the flash frame a 29er, if so you might also want to down size the chainrings.

re sale, i haven't a clue! best of look with it, i loved my taurine.
