I have a leaking M9000 lever. Can I fit XT internals into the XTR lever?

Levers from the same era, look to have the same size master cylinders.

Here is a current Deore compared to the XTR. Don't have a current gen XT.

They do look pretty close. Only way to be sure is to take them both apart.

Looks like the XT levers are Servo Wave and the XTR are not. IDK how this might affect swapping internals.

I swapped the main piston from an XT M875 to an XTR M985 lever and that at least worked fine. Dismantling and re-assembly wasn't too big of a job, so you might just give it a try...
