Hi,

I just got my Trek 8500 for 2 weeks and it having a press fit bottom bracket which i don't really know what size of it.
But it's look like the BB30 Crank can be use here. But i am not so sure if i want to order SL crank set just to try if it work.

Anyone have any idea?

Trek's press fit is BB90: a Shimano released press fit standard that keeps the same bearings and placement of an outboard bearing system, but presses them right into the frame. BB30 uses an oversized 68mm shell to fit up to a 30mm diameter spindle.

Short answer: NO, it will not work.
