Sure, If you want....

Those shifters have been around for 2 years.
They also re-introduced canti brakes so you could have a complete build.
While none of it is specifically designed for MTB it would all work fine.

It'll work fine for a flatbar MTB application if you want.

Dura-Ace barcons are intended for TT use but plenty of people see fit to combine them with Pauls mounts and use them off road.

Brakes could be a problem- from the location of the pivot it does not appear that they will work with linear pull brakes (v-brake) - would have to be some type of cantilever brake or maybe the road version of the avid mechanical disc brake.

Yup, Cantis

Campagnolo also has re-introduced cantilevers as has Shimano and Avid still make some.
No problem there.
They work just was well as linear pull brakes; Cantis disappeared do to marketing and Shimano...just like the square taper crankset.
