camping

Hey there!, there are a couple of state campgrounds reasonably close by. There's Molly Stark SP on Rte 9, a little east of Wilmington, 802-464-5460, and then there's Woodford State Park, a little west of WIlmington on Rte 9, 802-447-7169. Historically, "The Mountain" offered camping at the Corinthia Ski area during the races. You might want to check into that.

sadly they havent done camping at Corinthia for a long time. They did HayStack for a while after Corinthia ended but that too has gone the way of the dodo.Molly Stark is a fair bit away ( its like 20 mins driving) and the ranger there is brutal...doesnt seem to like bikers and makes it a point to give them a hard time.
Unless you really really need to camp I would try some of the cheaper lodging options. I love camping and wish they would find a close spot to do it. Camping mountain side in the early-mid 90's was so much fun.
