Campagnolo Cassette With Shimano Chain ?

I have never seen this done, will it work ?

Any Chain Will Work On Any Cogset

As long as you match # of gears.

9 spd chain with 9 spd cogset, 8spd chain with 6/7/8 cogset. etc.

I guess you are right because i heard one time that campagnolo cassette with shimano chain and derailleur where not compatible...
