Calling all Trek Fuel EX 8

Hey fellow bikers, I am building up a EX8 and last night I had a problem with the driveline. Anyone running the Bontrager Race crankset? If so how many bottom bracket spacers are you installing? One per each side or two on the non-drive side.
When I do the old "shift the chain to the middle chain ring and the 4th cog in the back" the chainline it not straight. It looks like the crank is too far out to the drive side.
Any help here would be appreciated.

My ex9 has 2 spacers on the drive side. Asked LBS about the chainline issue & they said that it is correct that way. Expect some drive train noise because of this.

That just doesn't seem right. With 2 spacers on the drive side should make the chainline worst. I'm installing a new BB and putting both spacers on the left side. It looks better and runs quieter this way.
Thanks for replying BKB
I agree with you, let me know if it does work quieter.
