See that A-11 on the right^^^ Tektro website

Looking to buy that "A-11" I found this from Shimano..

Are they both the same or do you HAVE TO have the same manufacture mount as the caliper or are the mounts "standard" or "universal" ?

They "look" the same?
Planing on moving my front rotor size from 160 to 180...

Thanks for your time

Does not matter.
What matters is the intended size rotor and mount.
I have Formula mounts for my Hope brakes, and I think I put Avid adapters on my dads bike with Hayes brakes.

That said, do not necessarily go by looks. Go by mount design.
If you want to go 180 in the front, make sure you get a 180mm mount, with either Post mount, or IS mount, whichever you need.

I have a set of Code R with 200mm HS1 rotors. The LBS only had a shimano 203mm post mount so I tried that minus a washer and it works. Its not perfect so I ordered the correct part in amazon and am waiting for it to come in. But it does work and have got over 50miles trial riding with the shimano mount.
