Personally, I like the nordic car the best.
Bragg Creek is the go to spot for locals. The most popular loop is bragging rights and Merlin. But lately I have been stringing together telephone loop, long distance, reconnect, Merlin and then bragging rights to the parking lot. That loop gives you about 23k with about 700m of elevation gain.
There are many other trails in the bragg creek area. Trail forks will help you. In addition there is a Facebook group called ride the rockies trail reports that will give you somewhat current data.
The bad news for you is that the forecast calls for rain in bragg on Saturday, and the trails there are not a lot of fun to ride when wet and can be damaged.
Another option you might want to consider is high Rockies trail from peninsula to sawmill. It can be a little tricky to find the trailhead, but it is some nice single track then the forest.
If it is soggy other options to consider would be tunnel mtn in Banff or possibly razors edge in Canmore, as I think it holds up well to rain.
You may want to post some questions in advance on the Facebook group to get the most up to date intel.
