Ok, so today i had a pretty hard slam off a Rock drop (derailed in port gamble btw) and i damaged my shifter cable, but can't seem to remove it from my [URL]https://www.amazon.com/SHIMAN...s=gateway&sprefix=shimano+sl-m,aps,203&sr=8-5 Shimao shifter [/URL]

is it just me or can theybe removed? insight would be helpfull

They can, google the shimano manual and proceed with the removal.

Care to link it? i looked all around the altus+acer sections on the shimano site where all the manuals are lacted for .pdf download, didn't find anything

My bad, I assumed that the overall design of the entry level shifters would be similar to the higher end models, apparently they don't have the same plastic screw on the side for easy removal.. I did managed to find 2 videos which should help you though:
