OY!!!

Anybody ever retro-fit a coil-over upgrade on a Jekyll? I've pretty much figured-out what I'm gonna do & how, but I'm wondering if anybody else has done it (and what you ran into mid-project.).

The shock it comes with is a low cost shock. How much are you willing to spend?
...umm, actually it came with a Fox Float Pro Pedal RC. I'm (probably) going with a Manitou coil-over. I'm planning on getting an extra pre-load ring and mounting the trundle-pivot between rings.

The Fox is a SWEET shock, but it loses air pressure in cold conditions.

can you get the right travle out of a coil? and your going to have to do some sweet sweet custom milling and or fab work to get that all set. are you still going to have the ajustable geometry? really not a nessisary ajustment to keep around. post a pic or at least some details once your done!

 You know it. - With a bro' in metal-fab, I've got a sweet hook-up for little custom pieces for projects.

By my highly detailed calculations  , I'll end-up with about the "FR" angles of the stock set-up,with about 1" more travel (sag) with a 170mm fork.
