I am looking at a reflex hardtail. I have heard several things about the Scott company and know them as a skier, but has anyone riden these bikes. I know the reflex 40 has ALL Shimano components, which I like, but they are Alivo vs Deore on the other bike I am looking at Gary Fisher Tessajara. The upside is, as opposed to other bikes I am looking at that are $250+ more, the Scott is all Shimano + Ritchie. Any thoughts. Asking price is $449 new at my local shop. I am just gettng back into serious riding and it seems like a great price on a great intermediate bike.
