I have a Lupine Wilma 5. The battery got fully discharged and it never really recovered. Now the battery will not take a charge at all. I can get a replacement 5.0 Ah battery for about $142. I have not looked at lights for night riding in a while and am wondering whether I would be better putting my $$ into a new upgraded set up or if I should keep my current headlamp (1100 lumens on max power) and buy the replacement battery. Any thoughts appreciated.

I would upgrade. That light is old. I would look into the Outbound Hangover for $125 rather than spending $142 for another battery for that light. Outbound is about to have a Black Friday sale so I'm sure that you can get an even better deal on it.

I have tried to contact Lupine for a week. No answer or call back. Did Lupine go out of business? I have the Piko am
nd Blika that crapped out.
I am trying to decide between the Outbound Lighting Overhang vs the Gloworm X2 Adventure. Maybe another?
When the Blika worked it was nice, light wt., beam was good and I have the 4 and 2 cell packs.
I like a light wt. lamp on my helmet.
BUT A LIGHT THAT CUTS OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF RIDING CHUNK ON SINGLE TRACK SUCKS!
