So I bought a 2008 epic expert almost three monthes ago and already have a busted brain shock. Its got average ride time on it about 100 miles and I have never rode with it locked out, we also set the sag when I bought the bike. LBS told me there is 1 year warranty on the front and rear shock but when I went to specialized.com it says 5 year warranty on brain shock for original owners. They are shipping a brand new one no questions asked which is awsome. So is it 1 or 5 year on the rear shock? Sorry if this is the 1000 time this has been brought up also!

One year on the fox shocks. Five years on the Specialized AFR shocks. Your epic is covered for 5 years.
