Hey folks,

I have an unusual question about my Merida bike.

I have a 120 3000D Carbon which I have broken the frame on. I'm working on the warranty at the moment, but Merida no longer make these frames so I can't get a direct replacement.

One of the warranty options would leave me with my old bike which I can then buy a new frame for and, hopefully, build a good second bike.

I was wondering if anybody had any experience with swapping the rear suspension part of the frame to an alloy 2000 version.

The gear looks the same, but I have no idea if the parts are interchangeable. I have the option to get a front frame which I could marry my rear end to. This would be ideal if I could, but I don't know enough about these bikes to know if the parts are the same size.

Any help or advice would be great.
