Thought I would post up some more Burner porn. Got it built yesterday and took it on her maiden voyage. The fit is perfect, couldn't be happier, and the suspension was plush for the amount of travel, the o-ring was hanging off the shock shaft so I guess I'm getting full travel but I never felt it bottom. Decided to go with a Marathon XC and some new controls up front, the fork is nice and has a ton of adjustments. The brakes were still getting broken in but felt good towards the end of the ride, firmer feel then the Hayes and maybe a tad less grabby, we'll see. It's not light, maybe around 28 pounds, but thats fine with me and it climbs nicer than my FXR fo sure. Sorry no action shots, just did a quick shakedown ride. I will post in the Burner setup thread also.

Juicy levers/calipers and non-wavy rotors? Did you change the rotors out?
No, the wheels/rotors came off my FXR, I have a new rear wheel coming and I fiqured I would switch the Avid rotors over then, the Hayes work fine though.

Very, very nice! Looks like you'll be applying to JNC's Ninja Clan as well. Congrats, welcome to the wonderful world of Homerdom.

Sweet looking ride man. Your gonna like those brakes a lot once they have had a chance to burn in completely, smooth power, best way to describe it.

happy trails...

Thanks, just got back from a cool local loop and the bike was very nice going up the hill and I was able to make a clean run down a steep technical trail called sec 16, I was wishing for a QR to lower the post though, the suspension feels good and the bike just handles right.

Squeak- I didn't end up making it up there-bummer, I was really hoping to check out the bone. Larry really took care of me on the fork and controls, thank you Larry! and of course Dave for selling these awesome frames so cheap.
