I am new to the FS thing.. I've been riding a hard tail for 10+ years and bmx bikes before that... so I know how to bunny hop, but with the fs, I can't seam to clear logs etc. on the trail... the back end just doesnt come up, maybe I'm feeling the compression of the rear shock and not pulling up enough... any advice?

bunnyhopping to conclusions

I very recently went through that and was amazed how different FS Hopping and 20" hopping was. I could easily pull my bmx a couple feet but was depressed the first few pulls of my FS. Like said before, use compression to your advantage on both ends. I noticed I had to plan my attacks a little earlier with suspension. Once efficiently bunnyhopping your FS rig, you will be amazed at how easy and painless the action is on your body compared to rigid.
