So pleased with this bike. Everything I had imagined.

I will try to get some detail of the gussets, internal routing, and of course the chainstays

Nice looking bike. The twin chainstays are really pleasing to look at. Do you feel more compliance out of the rear? Nice build spec, congrats on a beautiful bike.

Too nice to ride...almost. Great chainstays. That is the first 29er I have seen that looks just like a 26er in scale and proportion. I went back up to see if I was in the 29er zone.

I only have one ride on it. Hoping for a quick one in a bit.

It may be more compliant in the rear. I ran a little more air than usual to feel the frame. The ride was smooth.

I'm real pleased with the proportions as well. It just looks right to me too.

Sweet- I love those Aherne (sp?) frames- such a perfect execution of a 29 mtb. What's the tale of the geometry, cs length, etc?

That bike is stunning.

And I love the knotwork Ahearne uses for his logo and stickers and headbadge etc! Enjoy and keep us informed on how the bike performs.

Got rained out yesterday:madman:

It is a 68mm shell.

I actually don't know all the numbers, and don't want to until I have a few rides in.

I specd the

seattube 18" c-c

toptube 25"

Headtube 125mm

beyond that I basicaly didn't want headset spacers

And NO zipties:nono:

I'm guessing close to 25lbs

Ahearne does some amazing work, true bicycle artistry.

Question:
Did he route the front brake cable through the fork leg?

Shamless plug from the "webmaster" . Be sure to get your flask cage while you're at it! (Another shamless plug from a friend)
