Well I have been getting board with jsut having my hardtail bike around , and the new MTX frame is still a ways off . It's summer and I want to go ride Mr. Toads and Dowineville Sooooooo I decided to start building myself a new bike , here are some of the parts I have gotten in so far .(sorry for the crappy pic, my good camera was on the fritz :madman: )

Getting these laced to a custom set of Industry Nine wheels ... enough said !

ROCCO : well this might be the best hint of all ... YES this bike is going to go squish :eekster: check out the eye to eye on this bad boy ... yes big travel for this bike .

The frame is goign to be steel and I want to get it powdered coated and a few parts chromed , check out this headtube pic's of one of our latest DeathMobile frame and let me knwo what you think of the color .

i just laced up a pair of urban camo mtx wheels last night. they look pretty sick! first thing i did, tho, was take those gaudy stickers off!

i like that blood red frame. very nice.

Yes I'm planning on building something pretty crazy !
As guessed it's going to be red/chrome/camo

I dont want to comment about the frame but it's going to be soemthing most people havent seen in a wile , sorta a blast from the recent past with a bit of new school tech for good measure . I am running the suspension through the Kinamatic's programe right now .. so far everything looks good .

Rim's were courtesy of Sun-Ringle so I'm not too sure what they cost , and I can't take the stickers off ... well not suposed too

Fork ... I have a white Rc2x sitting here that hasent been used yet , but I'm thinking od trying to get a Rc2x world cup kit for it so I can run the new stanchions as well as the Ti springs .

Wheels ... YES the spokes are going to be alternating red/black with red hubs
the spokes are going to alternate at teh hub so it looks like the red spokes are growing from the hubs and the black spokes will look like the main spokes on the wheels .

dayum!!! that's going to be a sick bike. i suppose the stickers will be part of the color scheme. i'll post pics of mine without the stickers so you can see what they look like.

That's going to be a really nice build, I am looking forward to seeing the new frame and the custom built I9 wheels. Fred and the guys at I9 are very cool. The new color on that DeathMobile is hot, bet it pops in the sun.
