Will post photos as parts arrive!

Good luck since there's nothing to look at yet but your enthusiasm
Hubs are gonna take 2 weeks from King... guess they're pretty backed up from the Holidays. Dang.

Rims and spokes will be here tomorrow... guess I can stare at those for awhile.

I suppose if you consider a guy named Stan to be sexy... :D Have yet to see what is so special about his branded rims....who makes them for him anyways?

I've heard that Stan himself handcrafts and powdercoats every rim in his attic. Seems logical. Who knows, I'm sure they will work just fine, that's all I want them to do!
Sounds like its going to be a nice wheel build! I was hooked aftr building my first set. For me it was a very enjoyable experience and it was rewarding to take my time, and ride them hard for 2 seasons to find them requiring minimal, if any adjustments.

Did you have to buy 3 full boxes of spokes for one wheelset !?

Unfortunately, Yes. Hopefully I will only need two of the sizes.
Watch those CB skewers. There is a nasty pinch point ready to catch your skin. I've seen, and had, nice hunks taken out when caught when not paying attention and clamping down. Nice choice in all. Can't wait to see finished product. What are these wheels going on?
Thanks for the heads up! The wheels will be going on my '09 Trance X0

Hubs came in today!

I got the front one done today. Rear is laced, just needs to be dished/tensioned/trued... hopefully done tomorrow if I have time.

More photos when tires are mounted!

Looks good so far. Nice looking bike. Funny its a trance. Well not funny, just I just sold my '08 X2 tonight.

BTW, nice choice in using liquid silk. great sh!t.
Shops doing the same wheels for me for my Air9. Black king hubs, Silver DT Spokes and black brass DT nipples. But with White Archs.
why archs out of all the rim choices? just wondering

I've been running ZTR Olympics on my 26er and love them. Tubeless is super easy. NoTubes has it down to a science. And they come in white. Good enough for me.

Nice wheel p0rn!!! What was the final weight without skewers? I am considering a similar build.
Right around 1700g. I'm using the oversized front hub and brass nipples.
