Doh! I'm out of town this weekend, but let me know next time as that is right in my backyard.

Cheers!
I don't think I can make it for this.

BTW, how do you donate to SF Urban Riders (i.e., for this and McLaren Park)? I checked online and I didn't see anything. I didn't see any way to order a t-shirt, even thought I don't really need/want one (too much clothing already).

Good Question on Donating....

SFUR is now officially a Non-profit 501c3 and will be updating our bank account to match.

Once tis is done we will have a PAYPAL LInk for donations and a Store front on our website.

Stay Tuned!
Just curious. Will there be signs with No Horses and others with No Hikers on them throughout the trail giving warning to all who poach that they may get mowed down if they are on the trail? Or is this another weak attempt at a multi-use trail that we build and everyone else but us benefit? I'm not from SF and don't ride there so that's why I ask.
San Francisco is a dense Urban environment with limited open space, so we build Multi Use trails so everyone can share them equally. Our trails are designed similar to China Camp or Tamarancho and the start of a larger inter connected vision that would provide trail access from one large park to another.

We do promote RESPONSIBLE USE of the trails - so that means No Time Trial Downhills or massive Dirt Jump lines on our Trail System.......( like those elements exists in any public Bay Area open space).

SFUR is in negotiation with the SF Rec & Park to build a Bike Skills Area in McLAren PArk next year! It will have all the extreme bike challenges a rider could want - with NO Hikers or other USers in your way!

This is the only way off road biking can sustainably exist in any dense urban area - we hope the cycling community understands the opportunities and constraints of the situation and realize this is a great thing for San Francisco.
