Hi, this is my first post. I have read in the forum and I´m interested in the design and construction of a box rally.
I´ve some ideas in head, but ...
What policy resistance of materials, structural safety or fatigue?
Other question, Which laws and regulations apply (DIN ISO ...)?
Thank you very much for everything. Excuse me by my bad language, I´m not american.
Greetings.

Excuse me

EXcuse me. It isnt a forum for build bike frames? I'm sorry if I said anything bad or wrong.
My intention is to learn, not trying to upset anyone.
Sorry
Hello. Someone give me a web or infomation about laws and regulations build frame bikes.
I'm asking just a help, I'm not laughing.
Thanks.
I'm not a frame builder I was just browsing this forum out of interest, please what is a box rally??
A rally box is a frame bike. My idea is a hardtrail frame, light and comfortable to ride by paths.
Thanks for your interest.

It depends what country you are in. There are DIN standards in Germany, JIS standards in Japan, etc. I have a list of worldwide bicycle standards - if you tell us what country you are in maybe I can help you.

The language barrier may be hard to overcome here.

Custom/small builders generally have learned how to build strong-enough frames from tribal knowledge--seeing what others have done before them--and trial and error.

Laws and regulations usually do not include these builders, only to the big suppliers.

There are many component-based design "standards" depending on the type of bike and specific parts.
Hello:
SHIGGY: My level of english is very low, sorry. Yes, I'm in Spain, jeje. Then, they build their own bike at home and they need not pass any legislation?

DR.WELBY: The rules here are UNE and ISO, but I dont know exactly to design a bike frame, Would you like say me something to start? I'm lost.

Thanks for your interest. I appreciate you.
what material will you build your frames from queliada ? alloy, steel, carbon?

I'm not a frame maker but it would be cool to be able to design and make frames,

my frame would be 73mm BB to allow wider chainstays for bigger tyres, 1 1/8 head tube x 150mm, and I like the eccentric BB on the Chameleon to allow single speed. IS disk mount. I had a new Chameleon but it was too hard on my back , and really needed a slacker head angle.
I will use 26"x1,9 to 26"2'125 rear wheel. Therefore, the BB will be in 68mm. Moreover, so will be less bending BB.
The headtube is 1 " 1/8 and I dont know it lenght, altough I will use a 100mm suspension fork.
I have more questions which are the values of the safety factors and should support max efforts welds.
Thank you very much for your interest and help.

Gracias te he entendido muy bien.
Now, I seeing FAQ´s. My intenttion is to make a project and so I need argue my decisions and I must say that regulations apply.
What book or manual would you recomend to me?
thanks for all.
