So i'm gonna ravish one of my old XC hardtails for parts to build a DJ bike with next spring. Really only leaving me with needing a frame, fork, and some riser bars.

On a budget, what do you guys reccomend that would still be pretty decent stuff?

Fork? (i have no clue)

Frame? (I dont know much about 26" DJ frames at all)

Bars?

Trying to keep weight down, but dont want to spend TOO much....

dont expect them XC parts to last too long.
cheap of the cheap is probably a used azonic steelheel
also look at the atomlab g.i. can usually be found for very cheap

bars - truvativ hussefelts - very cheap, decent weight and i havent broke them yet.

fork- if your only going to be using bike for light use theres that velvet fork that everyone is raving about. other than that a rigid like the identiti rebate and DMR trailblade. or something like a gold label should be able to be found cheap on ebay/craigslist/etcv and they are light
