For anyone in the SE part of the state, it was announced a few days ago that the 100 acres have been purchased and the trail is going to be expanded to 15-20 miles. Currently it's about 7.5. If you've never been there it's actually a great trail, perfect for a light hardtail. Some nice climbing, fast descents with jumps and the sand isn't too bad. Nothing like Cheraw where you just about need a fat bike. I like it better than even Uwharrie. Definitely worth a road trip.

Great news! Thanks. It's a very fun, though surprisingly hilly, trail.
