Motels in Frisco and Silverthorne.....about 8-15 miles away.

I suggest Great Western Lodging: http://www.gwlodging.com/

Lots of options and price points. Plus, You will have wifi, kitchen, etc, etc. The kitchen in my mind is a nice touch....it will save you some coin as eating out in the area can get to be $$$$$

Don't be afraid to negotiate price. They have been known to take $10-$20 off per night if you are nice about it.

Not sure how many of you there will be, but I have stayed in this building a few times: http://www.gwlodging.com/property/TE107
You might be able to get them down to $100 a night if it is not on a busy/event week.

The Village at Breckenridge and Great Divide Lodge both have hotel rooms. Last time I was there (mid-June) the Village was under remodeling, dunno if it's still open while they're doing it.

The Village also has studio condos which are IMHO for the money the best deal, because they have a full kitchen and are only slightly more expensive than the hotel rooms.

There are lots of places you can go to. Check out yourbreckrental.com. Breckenridge is not very hard on the pocket and you get good amenities. By the way, I don't think you will be at the hotel or motel too much since there are so many fun activities you can do here.
