Breaking Away article in the latest Filter mag.

Filter's a music mag, doncher know, and it includes a free compilation CD, w/ artists such as Sonic Youth, Silversun Pickups, Guster, et al. Sonic Youth is on the cover- I got mine at Tower.

The Breaking Away article is only a few pages long, but I was surprised to see it in a music mag. I still haven't seen the movie. :rolleyes:

cuz it's on right now.
it's been too long since i've seen it.
great movie. think i gotta buy it.
maybe american flyers is on next.

having lived in Bloomington for 5 years, there are so many "errors" in that movie. The race course is just funny how they link area's that are so far a part into one "loop".

One thing they barely touched on, is just how big the party is for the Little 500. fun times even for a non-greek.

As a 35+ year resident of Colorado, I find a few similar discrepencies in American Flyers. I still really enjoy both movies, however.

Great write-up in Bicycling mag a month or 2 ago about the little 500. Great history, great rivals, great race. Love to go some time. Check it out.........
