I recently had a couple spokes replaced at my LBS. Mavic 819's with alloy nipples. I pick the wheel up from my shop and they have replaced it with brass nipples. Will this be an issue down the road where one nipple is stronger than the others around it? Should I have specified using the same nipples that are on it? Am I being too picky? :skep: Thanks!

Shouldn't be a big deal but...

Unless they did it for free, I'd be grumpy about it and insist they do it the right way. If they replaced spokes too, be sure they matched them up properly (e.g. they didn't put straight gauge on if your wheel's built with double-butted, etc).

If they did it on a complimentary basis (free), then just ride it and be happy. :)
