bought a new set of 26" Ryde Trace25 wheels with deore xt hubs

total newbie, building my first bike, couldnt resist a cool Hardrock frame

So I got the wheels to do tubeless setup, they are 25mm internal width.
I plan on running 26x2.5 tires

before i mount tires or ride them, do I check anything?

Any syncing or tightening before anything?

Years ago I ran mainly machine built wheels - I assume the Ryde's are? My First machine built set failed miserably (low end spec. as well) and was told by a local wheel builder to give my next set some love before use. This meant de-stressing the spokes and re-checking spoke tension.
