2009 gary fisher superfly 21 inch
everything is stock except for…
industry nine stans 355 rims
Thompson masterpiece stem and elite seatpost
Salsa lock tight grips
Sella Italia flight… with flaming eyeballs
Fsa carbon bar
Some egg beater candies
Sooooooo fly

My shop “friends” decided that the bike would perform much better with a hot dog and some bearings in the seat tube
Unfortunately I picked up the bike about a week after this decision had been made
My bike smells

XT crankset can't be standard surely?
Unfortunately yes, and i dont see why? EVERYTHING else on the bike comes from the SRAM factory, bar the fox fork ofcourse, so why on earth would you spec the bike with XT cranks? on a plus note they are lighter than the previous bontrager carbon cranks that made an appearance on the superfly

Aside from being lighter, stiffer, stronger, and having a better tooth profile for better shifting up front, there's not really any advantage to the XT cranks.

ya the xt cranks look kinda funny i would love to put a crank that is a 180mm on there...
thats a good length for me
but i do agree that the xt is a big upgrade from the bonshwager
as far as i am concerned the only bontrager parts worth keeping on that bike are the wheels
i got rid of everything else
