Hi everyone! I’m just new here and want to ask for help and advice .

I’ved bought a used Shimano XTR BR-M9020 calipers only . Is it possible to use the new model BR-M9120 Levers for this calipers ?

I bought the calipers for around 140USD, Did i made the right choice or not ?
Thanking you all in advance !

I don't think they will fit. I have newer 8120 and broke the lever . I tried to use 8000 levers and they don't fit. I would assume the same for XTR. The older lever was physically wider and wouldn't fit.

Yes, you can use any of the Shimano levers with any Shimano caliper as long as the hose connections are the correct ones for your application
I went to a bike store and ask a mechanic there . Just like what you said , he said that it's possible to use the new M9120 brake levers .
I think they uses the same brake hoses , right ?

But i'm not sure if the performance is the same or over kill and might cause any brakage on the calipers piston . Isn't the M9120 4 pistons/pots ? The M9020 only has 2 piston . What do you think ?
