Does anyone know of a webpage that has step by step instructions on installing disc brakes. If anyone could post a link it would be greatly appreciated.

Disc brake calipers varies grealty from model to model. Check out the manufacturer's website they usually have PDFs. Otherwise if you tell us the make and model some people might be able to help you from experience but there isn't one set of guidelines that applies to all disc brakes.

get your LBS

to "face" the tabs on your fork and bike frame. should cost about $10. Makes a perfectly flat surface for mounting and helps stop brake alignment problems. Jim
