The S-Works and Pro models will have the new Specialized shock, with the Expert model having an original Fox remote Brain shock. The Comp model will have a regular Triad shock.
So looks like the brain is coming down the model line  (Pics of the S-works Stumpy below)

More info here

Cris

Still only 120mm!
This is plenty enough!!! not satisfied, get the enduro!
It seems they improved the shock on the weight dept (as well as on the epic) and Magura provided a 90deg connection for the rear brake, which fits much better, but.... the color seems awful to me. I prefer the 2006 black carbon, and I still think the Crossmax SL wheels are the sexiest on the market...

think thats a typo. The 2006 fsr s-works has 130mm of travel. Doubt they went down in travel.
A black one courtsey of bike magic. Color is what it is. I really dig those new magura brakes. Have never tried them (have xt's) but they look trick.

Yeah, but on the STUMPY line, only the S-Works and Pro had it, now the EXPERT will have it too (it's on my post's title).

Cris
According to Singletrack Magazine the " Expert model having an original Fox remote Brain shock" and the " S-Works and Pro models will have the new Specialized shock"

what's with the....

... seemless weld thing? Are they doing like c'dale where they do ugly, overheated cottege cheese welds, then grind them out smooth?

Yeah, and I'll second that 120mm is plenty for an XC bike. Heck, I'm happy wtih my 90mm.

the bike pictured is an s-works, so its made out of carbon, not aluminum. i should hope there are no welds on a carbon frame! also, if you look closely on the rear triangle you'll see the typical welds (rear stays are aluminum).
