Boyette Map Available???

Yesterday I rode Loch Ness, Upper Loch Ness, Spider ????, Golf Cart and Gator Pit. This trail is very confusing..Is there a map available? After I got back to the truck and examined the board by the entrance, I noticed there were a lot of tracks off to the right of the "road/dbl track".

The trails were not even named so that I see how they were connected or layed out.

It may not be the most up to date map but it works well. I think updated maps are supposed to be posted at the trailhead.

That one isn't too bad. That is the 01/05 version. I've got the latest version from 11/05 which is a bit different. The maps at the trailhead are usually not very good. Every time SWAMP leaves good ones, the county takes them and puts their own version there....old old version.

Good question. It has been going on for years. The county apparently has an "approved" map that they want used at the trailhead, but it is was out of date. Anyhow, for anyone who wants the latest version, PM your email and I'll be happy to send it over. I don't think there is a way to attach it here, is there?

Looks like I missed a bunch of trails.

Make sure you hit the Abyss in the NE corner. That is the best trail there. It's on par with the stuff they have at Alafia.:thumbsup:

YaMon you defitinely have to hit the Abyss trail. It's makes the 2 miles of riding to get to the trails worth it. There is good website for maps of most the places in Florida. The site is www.mtbflorida.com. Rode the trails out there tonight with a couple of friends. It must have rained in that area earlier because it was a little greasy out there. It's alot funner when the it starts to cool off around 7:00. Well as cool as Fl. gets this time of year.
