On the 2005 RockShox Boxxer Race how do you adjust the travel from 7-8" of travel? Do you lower the crown or is there an external switch or something else?

Changing travel (Race only)
To change the travel of your fork you must perform a full service on your fork. To obtain service information or instructions visit our website at www.rockshox.com or contact your local RockShox dealer or distributor.

Quote' taken directly from text of the 05 BoXXer user manual

I have the 05 BoXXer but have no intentions of lowering the travel

maybe this will help...

As the pic is set now, the fork has 7" of travel. If you move the circled spacers to the top that will give you 8". good luck. however it shouldn't be a problem, boxxers are stupid simple to breakdown and rebuild.

That makes sense, pretty much what I was thinking but stock out of the box the fork is set to 8inch and the travel spacers are on top above the spring I have had mine apart far enough to know that and moveing them the the bottom lowers travel to 7in.
