Hi everyone.

I recently acquired a bike with a 2012 Boxxer RC converted to air (the stanchions are fine) with a charger damper. I started tearing it down for a precautionary overhaul and found that is has a 2010 air spring assembly in it (11.4015.385.000). Everything I could find on the interwebs is saying that it’s not compatible with 2011+ forks. Does anyone know if this is actually true? If it’s not, is there any benefit to using the assembly ‘designed’ for that year fork? And finally, if I shouldn’t be using the 2010 assembly, can I retrofit any parts instead of buying another assembly?

Thanks!
