Hi Guys, its' been a while since I've been here.

I broke my arm in half 10 months ago (full open compound fracture of my radius and ulna) and displaced my wrist.

Has anyone ever taken up hitting the heavy bag to strengthen the muscles and bones of their arms, I've done a few sessions before and it's fantastic for developing upper body muscle endurance?? Any obvious negatives that I am overlooking?
