Wow - another Dave. Welcome to the area. Depending on what you like, there's tons of riding in the Open Space Parks and the Forest in Boulder County. I'm north, up in Lyons, and there's great riding around here. Can't swing today, but I do group rides in Lyons leaving from the visitors center in town at 6:30pm on Thursdays. The visitors center is across from the skatepark. Lyons is about 15 miles north of Boulder on 36.

Lots of kind folk on this board, too. I'm sure it won't take long to find some riding buds.
