I just got a new frame. 68MM bottom bracket width. The only BB I have is a Shimano ES-70 73MM.
I will be using Shimano XT cranks with this set up. I also have two spacer rings from an XTR BB laying around.
Is there going to be an issue using this non-XTR 73MM BB with XTR spacers on a 63MM bike with XT cranks.
Thanks for all the help. I am short on cash and need to get on the trails!

No worries...

One 2.5mm spacer on each side will easily make up the difference in bb shell size. The spacers that come with the 112.5mm XTR bb are 2.5mm but the 116 XTR bb comes with 3.5mm and 1mm spacers.

Thanks for the help. The spacers I have are 2.5's. I going to give it a shot today. Just wanted to make sure I was not going to ruin a new frame or anything.
