I am in the process of building a 2019 Kona Big Honzo ST. It has 148mm Boost spaced rear drop outs. I ordered a SHIMANO SLX FC-M7000-B1 BOOST CRANK set : https://bike.shimano.com/en-EU/product/component/slx-m7000/FC-M7000-11-B1.html

I also ordered a boost PF BB : https://www.bike-discount.de/en/buy...i-press-fit-bottom-bracket-bb-mt800-pa-449971

So the problem is the frame has a 73mm threaded BB! I don't know where I came up with PF BB but I will say Kona's website wasn't any help.So i already have a 73mm Shimano threaded BB will the crankset work? I admit I am lost on boost & crank sets. Thanks.

The Website specs a GXP 73mm BB. To be fair you imagined a PF BB. The pics also clearly show an external threaded BB.

The crank you ordered should work perfectly. But, there's also chainring offset which is all over the map IMO. Some manufacturers specify "boost" chainring, some use 3mm, some don't differentiate between standard and boost.

Hurray modern standards!

I didn't even know you could scroll through the Kona pic's. One thing Kona does not list is the Kona Big Honzo ST frame only on their website. Anyways I think I was looking @ the Alloy Big Honzo and made the goof.

I bought this chainring : https://www.bike-discount.de/en/buy...-chainring-sm-crm70-30t-for-fc-m7000-1-532739

I was 100% focused on the BCD when making the purchase. If it makes a difference I will be setting up the bike as a single speed. Thanks.
