I have been searching but so far cannot find a weight for the standard 26 inch Bontrager Race Disc Wheelset. This is a 2008 set of wheels if that matters and I am replacing them but would like to know what they weigh. Preferably without skewers and without rotors.

I also looked on weightweenie but could not find any newer information.

I weighed my 2008 of my EX8 on hanging scales and they came in at 1968g.

I tried the Bontrager website. They are not listed anymore. I am replacing them with a wheelset that weighs 1620g (without skewers and rotors) so I am hoping they are over 1900g as that will represent a pretty nice weight savings.

Just to help i have a set of Race X Lites. The list weight is 1540grams.

I'd like to know where they get that as my pair without skewers, disc etc JUST the wheels are 1670grams!

My 2004 Race Discs weigh 1970g without skewers or discs

That's just the way Bontrager does things. My wheels listed at 1970, I weighed them around 2200.

My RXL's are 1570 without the Bonty Strips. I'm happy with them.

Yeah the rims strips are 30 grams though, plus the 10gram valve meaning 1570 + 80 = 1650.
