Looking to get a 30-34mm wide 29er set for my bike. I want to fit 2.5-2.6 front and rear, My budget is tight so which one of these two have the better combo of rim profile and hub? Is there another wheelset in this budget rage I should look at? This is going to be for my short travel trail bike.

Line Comps seem to be the value leader right now. Also consider a takeoff set of Ibis S35 wheels if you can find the. Reliable, strong, perfect width for 2.5-2.6 tires, a bit heavy.

Those looks good, but I saw two reviews that said the hub engagement could be better. Not sure if it's even upgradeable like the Bontrager.

36 point, no upgrade on the hubs. 36t is plenty for most, unless your riding style has you ratcheting the cranks a lot to clear rocks. For some it is a dealbreaker, for others like me, there are maybe 2-3 times a year that more than 36t would help. Then again, when I started riding mountain bikes 12 point was normal, 18 on the higher end with a few 24 & 36 points and then there were Kings with an obscene 72 point.

I don't need anything fancy 48t would be more than fine. Is there an affordable hub that might meet this requirement? How are the hubs on the Hunt? Can they be had with matching wider width front and rear instead of one wide front and one not as wide rear?
