The 2000-2003 RaceLite's are widely known to be Hugi 240's, as they have Hugi's own proprietary "star ratchet" system in the rear hub. I have a set of 2001 RaceLites and have opened the hub.
Last year, I believe, they introduced the Race X-Lite as their new top-of-the-line wheel superceding the RaceLite. Bontrager's website lists them as having "Ultralight Swiss-made cartridge-bearing hubs with star ratchet drive system" which can only be Hugi 240's.
The RaceLite then got "downgraded" to "Hubs are Swiss made, fully serviceable, and have a combination of needle and cartridge bearings". This describes the Hugi Onyx, Hugi's lower model from the 240, from what I've read on Hugi's website.
When you then drop down to the "Race" model you get "Hubs are cartridge bearing design... Front hub has oversize cartridge bearings and aluminum axle with adjustable pre-load", so these can be made by anybody.
