Since getting my Z1 I've noticed any fender I have tried - thin flexible plastic, molded thicker plastic, syncros trail fender - all slap the crown at bottom out.

After a recent lower leg service I finally realized that the bottom of the arch overlaps with the crown at bottom out - so any and all fenders would slap the crown toward bottom.

I already contacted Marzocchi but I have not seen this issue mentioned anywhere. Is my Z1 special?

Any other Z1 owners w/ fender experience?

To clarify - this occurs prior to full bottom out. On large enough impacts that quickly dive through the travel, the fender slapping the crown is extremely loud. Before I figured out it was the fender I thought my fork was snapping in 2.

If I let all air out in the fork and push down to bottom out and let go, the fender rebounding raises the fork back up a bit. It's not a tiny overlap...

This was not normal on my fox 36 or prior yari and doesn't seem like this should be normal behavior that nobody talks about. Or am i crazy?
