Bobcat ridge with my Nephew

On sunday I was watching my nephew and it only seemed right to go for a ride. He loves to ride in the litte trailer and I wanted to get off the pavement a little. We went to Bobcat Ridge a little outside of Ft. Collins,CO. The first part of the ride was smooth, flowing, and fast over the snow so I thought I had this trail system licked.... I was wrong. After snack break and some playing around at the old homestea we continued...... and I broke trail... uphill....with the trailer. Needless to say I got my workout in but it was an awesome time!

On to the pics!

Thats cool Aaron! I would say if you do that more maybe rig something like this:

Cut off some old skis and fasten them to the wheel so it won't roll. Looks like he was having a blast!

A ski buggy... SWEET! I could have used that on the uphills for sure. I don't think there was enough snow to justify it Sunday thought..... But a fatbike and that trailer would be awesome!!
The snow does up the difficulty out there....especially on ginny. The pugs is the way to go, for now, out there.

I have not had any passion to ride lately. Your posts inspire.

I'm inspired to ride in Funrover's trailer the next time he's out. :p
Roflmao!!!  I am not sure that would work out the best
Your posts are keeping the fire stoked, thanks.

Pulling the kiddo trailer is also good for your cadence/spin. If their head is rocking back and forth you need to work on a smoother spin. ;)
thanks for the pics...I haven't been out by the cabin in some time, it looks like they have done a bunch of work out there. I may have to make this my ride for this coming Saturday.

It did have a couple sections of mud Sunday. Not large maybe 10 -12 feet or so. Wasn't bad but by this SAT could be worse. Just wanted to give a heads up!
I will either have to go early or head further into the hills and ride in the snow then I guess.

Thanks for the update!
