looking to add a touch of color, does anyone in this crowd use color brake/shift housing? anodized parts of any kind? pictures would be cool.

is it too fruity to do this kind of thing? i'm just sick of the "freeride" color scheme (ie. black brown green) and looking to do some pimpin....but not at the expense of losing my "AM cred"!! ;)

back on track...

The cheapest (I guess you could still call "bling") method I've seen is just using colored zip ties. Could look cool with some Nokian cables. Trouble is that I tend to stick with what I know works well, Avid straight jackets.

What about here. I don't know how good the cable housing is, but it come in several colors.

One note with the Nokon cable housings is that when you use them for derailuers the coating(not really a plating) wears off and after a while they start to creak...i haven't noticed this with my brake cables seems to be something to do with the constant tension or gear cables (my nokons are about 10 months old)
